**What's the role?**:
We spend 150 million francs on our iconic cars, fuel and services related to vehicle management across the planet. Leasing providers, car manufacturers (OEMs), maintenance services and more. Your role is to manage this category and its strategic projects. Ultimately, you are the trusted business partner for our ten regional and 60 local fleet managers capturing opportunities with suppliers in a fast-changing environment to drive solutions and value creation. **What does the role involve?**:
Managing the global fleet of Hilti and working together with our procurement expert across the world, you will plan a roadmap of strategic projects for the category. This reflects business needs as well as our operational excellence, financial and sustainability ambitions. You define how to best leverage global partners and fulfill local market needs. You support local fleet decisions with professional methodologies like vehicle strategy or data analytics. You proactively monitor the external environment and translate relevant trends into the roadmap and organization.

Together with your peers, you will drive strategic projects and global contracts. This, to improve total value for Hilti. Your work includes developing sourcing strategies, facilitating and leading strategic projects like our CO2 strategy implementation, supplier negotiations, performance steering plus establishing and maintaining supplier relationships. Your work covers global suppliers. You will further develop our global procurement community for this category to identify and share best practices, thereby contributing to a high-performing global team. On top, you work with our global sustainability team to achieve our CO2 science-based targets.

**What you need is**:

- A university degree with results in upper-quartile
- 5 or more years’ professional procurement experience in an international setting
- Evidence of a strategic mindset balanced by hands-on behavior in the now.
- Evidence of acting as a strategic partner through influencing and interacting with key stakeholders across a matrix organization
- Structured thinking and ability to express structured thoughts
- Proficiency in numerical analysis and working with spreadsheets.
- A proactive approach in identifying external trends and acting as change agent.
- Mindset of actively seeking to develop yourself and sharing knowledge with others.
- Fluent in English
