Job description

We are looking for an experienced Digitalization “Intrapreneur” that is highly motivated to lead Accelleron’s Value Chain (from supplier to delivery) into a competitive digital future. In this role, you’ll shape the Value Chain Digitalization Strategy and drive initiatives with widened scope along the full value chain, i.e. from supplier to delivery. You’ll be based at our global headquarter in Baden, Switzerland and be part of the business unit Supply & Value Chain Excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Technology and Investments, you’ll set the right levers in close cooperation with our key stakeholder and management, to further lead Digitalization in our Value Chain to the next level.

With the full standardization of digitally assisted manufacturing processes and an in-house interface to fully automated cells we laid the foundation to become a digital factory. With your high level of motivation, your digital expertise, experience in the machine industry and your ability to successfully lead a digital transformation by well-orchestrating change management on all levels in our company, you will play a key role in bringing our company a big step forward towards industry 4.0 and with that generate significant business value to further increase our competitiveness.

Your responsibilities:
- Elaborate and lead strategic Value Chain Digitalization initiatives- Drive change as a ”Digitalization-Intrapreneur” with all stakeholders, make added value transparent to our company- Further drive the development and improvement of our value chain system landscape- Leading cross functional project teams along all project phases (initialization, analysis, concept development, project implementation until handover to line organization)- Developing in-depth understanding of our processes, to find innovative solutions to complex questions- Establishing partnerships with externals such as suppliers and universities- Maintaining and enhancing internal customer satisfaction by offering dialogue and excellent service at all times

Your background:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a profound understanding of production processes, technologies and digitalization- More than 5 years professional experience in the field of digitalization in operations, supply chain management or production management- Proven know how in the area of digitalization of processes in production, logistics, supply chain, machine or resources maintenance and quality- Proven project management skills and entrepreneurial spirit at the core- Experience with system architectures and interface conception are of advantage- Interest in problem solving and interdisciplinary teamwork- Solution oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style. A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn- Fluency in English required, German as a plus
