**About the position**

This position provides a unique opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a rapidly growing team that will work in a startup-like environment while enjoying the full resources and backing of General Motors.

The Assistant Manager of EV Charging is tasked assisting the development and implementation of a home and roadside charging network strategy for electric vehicle sales for the European market. The role of the EV Charging Assistant Manager is responsible for working with 3rd parties to develop home and roadside charging solutions for GM's customers. Success in this role will be defined as creating an EV charging offering that's seamlessly integrated between GM's products/platforms and roadside/home charging products provided by partners across European markets. Critical to success will be understanding both the technical aspects of charger/vehicle/platform integration, as well as the customer experience outcome of the solution to be built.

**Duties And Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Director of Network Development, together with cross-functional teams, to develop the regional home and roadside EV charging strategy.
- Coordinate product and platform integration with 3rd parties and GM customer experience, digital business, and IT teams.
- Project manage EV charging offering launches to align with product launches in European markets.
- Work with marketing team to develop attractive showcasing of charging products and services both online and offline.
- Coordinate integration of pricing and financing options for charging products and services with sales and finance teams.
- Develop talking points and educational write-ups on EV charging products and services.
- Develop trainings for customers, staff, and service teams on EV charging products and services.
- Coordinate with in-house legal team to ensure legal compliance of all offerings, programs, and policies.
- Attend and report out at charging review forums with regional teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years related experience.
- Technical understanding of EV charging products.
- Ability to develop data driven insights to inform plans, launches, and iterations
- Influencing and negotiation skills, including with external parties.
- Resource management & project management experience.
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and mínimal guidance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities and workflow.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Receptive to some domestic and international travel.
