Carbon60 is a staffing company specialising in the aerospace, defence, government and construction sectors, as well as technical placements. Carbon60 is part of the global Impellam Group.

We have been operating in Switzerland for over 10 years to develop our aviation business.

We work closely with Jet Aviation in Basel, Geneva, Villacoublay, etc. and recruit aeronautical profiles on a daily basis. But we are also looking for talents who could get their foot in the door with their qualifications and join the VVIP aviation field.

Our recruitment teams are based in both the UK and Switzerland. In other words, our recruiters are experienced and multilingual.

We are currently hiring for our customer in Basel an experienced Accountant
**Main responsibilities**:

- Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and VAT declarations
- Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
- Ensure that transaction entry verification procedures are followed
- Support all kind of internal and external audits as well as other departmental tasks as deemed necessary
- Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders relating to all aspects of the work
**Minimum requirements**:

- Commercial accounting education
- In depth understanding of accounting and reporting processes and procedures
- Minimum 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in similar position in an international company
- Fluent in English (oral and written); German language skills are an advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word)
