Zehnder has started on an exciting journey to enhance our products with state-of-the-art digital functionalities. For this purpose, we are setting up a new international team of digital experts headed by our new Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
Directly reporting to the CDO, we are looking for an experienced program manager, to lead and manage our digital program portfolio and enable our teams to deliver on our digital strategy and execution plans.

**In this role you will be accountable for**:

- Articulating a clear understanding of programs and projects that are being implemented and why and ensuring demand and intake are aligned with business requirements.
- Providing regular updates on the digital portfolio and program implementations and progress towards the outcomes.
- Supporting business stakeholders to understand the progress of initiatives under the digital program umbrella and provide relevant information on risks, progress and costs
- Ensuring project and program intake is established with key criteria to meet the desired value outcomes
- Conducting assessments on program performance, change readiness of the organization and the project portfolio
- Developing, preparing and updating program and project dashboards
- Working closely with the innovation team, IT and business to ensure alignment and acceptance of plans, projects and programs
- Having a full awareness of change management practices and planning to ensure early adoption of solutions
- Supporting the CDO in planning, reporting and enabling the digital transformation.
- Delivering end-to-end deep data analysis and actionable strategic insights.
- Connecting digital transformation activities with other work streams as needed and make sure they adhere to the project’s overall timeframe and major milestones.
- Managing the entire work plan for the digital transition, providing regular status reports, locate problems and control risks.
- Guiding project teams to define and track the success criteria and performance metrics such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, and effectiveness for the program.
- Establishing and maintaining communication with key customer decision-makers, lead and coordinate pursuit teams.
- Communicating performance and recommendations to Leadership to refine execution approach and drive issue resolution.
- Organizing and directing business development activities, such as client presentations, proposal creation, and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Identifying opportunities to leverage best practices in developing solutions that deliver tangible outcomes for users.
- Ensuring the Project Demand and Intake Process is continually assessed to enable fast and informed decision-making
- Being a change ambassador for the digital journey
- Leading special projects as needed, such as M&A, RFI, and other strategic initiatives

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Professional experience & formal education
- Bachelor’s degree in project/program management, ideally with a degree in computer science, business management or a related field, MSc a plus
- +5 years of relevant experience in an international, industrial environment.
- Strong appreciation for people, process and technology
- +5 years in business and technology transformations
- Experience in reviewing and monitoring performance against plans to refine course of action and influence teams to execute the plan.
- Having managed business & IT projects with strong evidence of success
- A proven track record of engagement with executive level stakeholders, as well as cross functional stakeholder management skills.
- A history of driving program/operational discipline as well as innovation.
- Full understanding of project and program risk management
- Proven experience in leading and managing digital initiatives.
- You are proficient in English, German and any other language is an asset
