We continue to grow and are currently looking for a Technical Consultant Public Safety (M/F/o) 80-100% for our branch in Zurich Altstetten as soon as possible.

In the control centers of police and rescue organizations, every second counts. Hexagon's dispatching systems support dispatchers in providing emergency callers with help as quickly and effectively as possible.

As a Technical Consultant in the field of public safety, you will support our customers and significantly shape the strategic future of this important business area at Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial.
- You will primarily focus on our customers and activities in French-speaking part of Switzerland.
- With your understanding of processes and requirements, you provide forward-thinking advice to our customers in their development. You recognize potential and contribute to business development.
- In collaboration with sales and the project team, you create high-quality offers and support extensive tender procedures.
- You lead small and medium-sized software projects and, in this role, are responsible for budget and deadlines, project coordination, reporting, and act as a central point of contact for the customer during the project duration.
- You proactively bring in your domain knowledge, initiate and lead internal initiatives and projects to tailor our solution portfolio even better to future market requirements.
- You establish contacts with potential solution prospects and initiate pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, site visits, and reference customer visits.
- You have a completed (university) degree or a comparable education.
- You have good knowledge of the public safety market segment and bring experience in customer support and consultation as well as project management.
- You are proficient in negotiations in French and are fluent in both spoken and written German and English, with knowledge of Italian being a plus.
- You enjoy providing advice, think conceptually and foresightedly to develop the best possible solutions for customers based on our portfolio.
- Your winning demeanor, good interpersonal sensitivity, and a healthy dose of pragmatism enable you to build sustainable relationships, communicate well internally and externally, and find effective solutions in challenging situations.
- You maintain a structured work approach and keep an overview even in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- You like to take initiative and have a good instinct for what benefits us and our customers.
