**Category Head Nutritionals/ DH/ C&C**

**PURPOSE**
The Category Head is a senior marketing position leading a team of 3-5 direct reports with many other matrix interactions within the organization. This role is a member of the Consumer Health Leadership Team in Switzerland and reports directly to the Country Head.

The main purpose of this position is to successfully lead the Gastro, Nutritional and Cough & Cold/ Allergy categories in Switzerland, secure the creation of multi-year strategic plan (based on regional/ global input) and translate developed strategies into fully integrated and actionable plans that deliver share of market and profitable growth to the business.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Translate global category strategies into actionable plans for the country and facilitate execution of the strategy via the brand team by setting clear growth goals, objectives and KPIs.
- Leverage market research & insights to identify sustainable growth opportunities incl. product development & innovation roadmap in each of the appointed categories - Clearly articulate Where to Play & How to Win plan.
- Monitor & interpret latest consumer & media trends, market developments, category shifts, and competitors' market performance to the Local Management Team, including recommendation on how to improve or further accelerate category growth.
- Lead strategic planning agenda securing the team actively complies/ delivers on the brand planning calendar, cross-functional activities, and other planning activities in general in a timely matter.
- Lead local teams and agencies to develop end-to-end full funnel (offline & online) campaign messaging construct & go-to-market tactical plans across paid, owned, and earned channels (incl. eCom) to address high value consumer segments.
- Act as the main contact point between global and local teams, responsible and accountable for fast and transparent information flow both ways
- Represent Switzerland in respective BAT (brand accelerator teams) and proactively contribute to the development of brand activation material or information for EMEA.
- Establish & own all aspects of brand budgets

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Commercial & digital first mind-set, with strong experience in end-to-end brand management incl. designing & developing brand architecture, brand guidelines, packaging construct etc.
- Deep understanding of quantitative & qualitative market research methodology (and consumer segmentation techniques - beyond GCBU).
- Deep experience in digital first end-to-end & integrated brand communication development process.
- Strong experience with full-funnel (integrated offline & online) campaign development, deployment, and optimization across paid, owned, and earned channels (incl. eCom). Good understating of Amazon content eco-system (e.g. PDP) will be a big plus.
- Strong understanding of local consumer media landscape (incl. offline & online retail media) and latest/emerging digital consumer media platforms. Hands-on experience with integrated search (SEO & SEM) is required.
- Experience in development and management of consumer loyalty programs will be a big plus.
- Strong understanding of campaign metrics & ROI tools e.g. MMM, digital attribution etc.
- Good experience with leveraging Web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) for campaign development and deployment.
- Experience with leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, MS PowerBI etc.) for analysis & reporting.
- Strong understanding of creative & content personalization approach. Experience working with real-time/dynamic creative optimization technology will be a big plus.
- Hands-on experience leading integrated agency teams (media, creative, content) & working with key media partners (e.g. Google, FB, TikTok etc.)
- Strong experience with financial budget planning and management
- Experience with collection & activating consumer data - 1st, 2nd, & 3rd party data - for campaign targeting & optimization.
- Strong project management skills
- Leadership skills: leading and developing people, building High Performing Teams

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**:

- At least 8 years' experience in demanding marketing positions. Good knowledge of FMCG and/or Consumer Health industries is strongly preferred.
