MERCHANDISING AND PROMOTION MANAGER in TRAVEL RETAIL

The Role

**In this role, you will**: Lead and deliver perfect in-store execution (permanent & temporary) maximizing the shopping experience to support market share gains and brand image building Make recommendations on space opportunities within the store of your territory and on brand allocation Plan the Permanent Merchandising capex investment accurately and ensure budget deliverance. Successful implementation will involve engaging with various internal (sales, marketing & trade marketing team) and external (Customers, Agencies, Field Supervisors) stakeholders.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Ensure Permanent Merchandising (PM) execution**: Lead PM project kick offs (handle various contacts with sales team, design agency, suppliers ) Get design route and timeline alignment Monitor permanent spaces. Make sure guidelines are shared and implemented (shelf testers, planograms etc.). Be on top of all executions and provide feedback Manage the in-store budget for the total portfolio (fragrances and cosmetics). Track installation status and costs in collaboration with the sales and finance team Ensure we have correct visuals instore with the support of the local field team (retail sales supervisors), following global guidelines Provide planograms and visuals for new installations; follow up on implementation with retail specialists Monitor initiatives of our competitors

Ensure best in Class temporary visibility of our instore promotions: Lead the in-store promotions/ animations for the assigned retailers, across the portfolio Direct the communication with international suppliers and negotiate prices for the production and installation of promotional podiums Provide the sales team (via your decorators) with the instore material solutions for optimal instore visibility and productivity in timely manner Ensure that promotions are viable and break-even is achieved Update promotional plan template in Salesforce, analyze results, make recommendations to management and your sales team Monitor initiatives of our competitors Support the Sales team in selling the vision for perfection in-store and the retailtainment ideas for our launches

**Analyze instore Performance & visibility**:
Analyze, recommend and implement actions (space opportunities, optimized brand allocation, current space enhancements) for your top doors.
Monitor Share of shelf and other instore KPIs to challenge Sales team on opportunities
Proactively flag and propose any visibility improvement and work plans as a multi-functional team, with Marketing and Sales

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**: Degree in a relevant field of Marketing and/or IT (preferred) Strong project management skills: ability to work and co-ordinate projects with a variety of people, departments and external partners (Decorators, agencies...) Experience of Visual merchandising for a selective brand Proficiency in English, other languages is a plus Ability to analyze data and provide logical conclusions Fluent English and French Demonstrated high interest for Luxury industry
