**Corporate Security Director - Eastern Europe**
**The Role**
The Regional Corporate Security Director is the senior security leader for the Eastern Europe Region, representing Corporate Security within the Regional Management Team and acting as security advisor to the Region. She/He is also a member of the Global Corporate Security Leadership Team.
**What will you do?**
The position assists the Corporate Security VP with developing the regional security strategy and provides oversight and support to all JTI business entities, operations, and projects within the Eastern Europe Region. These oversight and support address all facets of the security program including development, review and maintenance with a risk-based and cost-effective approach which adds value to the business.
Primary responsibilities, include, but are not limited to, risk assessments, crisis management, personnel security, (including all aspects of travel, event and executive security), maintaining and developing effective working relationships with internal stakeholders within all regional markets, with outside law enforcement, intelligence and security agencies and business partners, managing and developing regional security teams, assessment and development of physical security arrangements incorporating the security audit program, background checks, due diligence and investigations.
Regional Corporate Security Director is responsible for Risk and Crisis Management by leading regional efforts in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices and policies to reduce risk, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability through the development and maintenance of a Regional Security Risk Register.
She/He manages the implementation of programs and support to ensure the security of executives, employees, stakeholders, visitors, etc. at their place of work and while on business travel within the region. She/He develops the annual CS audit plan and oversees the execution of security audits and assessments and follow up recommendations of business operations.
Regional Corporate Security Director maintain and develop effective working relationships with the Eastern Europe Regional President, members of the regional management team, and all market/factory leads. Develops networks throughout all functions and levels to promote and drive global security initiatives. Briefs regional and market/factory leads on the status of security issues and emerging threats. She/He develops relationships with high-level law enforcement, business partners, and international counterparts to include in-country and regional security agencies, intelligence and private sector counterparts. Engages, by membership, in prestigious public and private security associations.
She/He will also manage and lead direct reports ensuring their continued development within their role and function adding greater value to the business, forming part of an ongoing succession plan and supporting career aspirations.
**Who are we looking for?**
You hold a university degree or equivalent and possess 10 years of experience in military, law enforcement, intelligence organizations or in the private sector.
People management is one of your key strengths. You are a natural leader and are able to manage teams to success.
You’re fluent in English and any other local language is a strong added value.
You are proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are part of your technology background.
