Recordati Rare Diseases is committed to supporting families affected by rare diseases through the research and development of new therapies and the distribution of specific scientific knowledge throughout the medical community.

**Role responsibilities**

Based in Basel, Switzerland you will Reporting to the Finance Controller for Industrial Operations of Recordati with dotted line reporting to the Head of Finance for Rare Diseases. You will be leading the finance function of the Rare Diseases Division working closely with industrial and supply chain teams and provide reliable financial information in a timely fashion to the all the finance and business stakeholders around the company.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Standard costing for internal and CMO production in conjunction with business functions
- Monthly cost management of all production and supply chain activities
- Management of Capex and Technology transfer activities and business cases
- Inventory evaluations and provisions
- Monthly analysis of standard costs and expense deviations
- Monthly reporting to Management and Headquarters
- Budgeting, Forecasting and Long range plan activities
- Support demand and supply integrated planning across the division and in collaboration with Commercial Finance and Supply

Chain functions
- Provide financial guidance and support across Rare Diseases plants
- Ensure alignment and implementation of global reporting guidelines
- Support projects as and when required in area of business development and M&A, licensing, etc.

**Technical and professional experience required**:

- A qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ACA or a similar equivalent, with at least 10 years' post-qualification experience in a

similarly complex, fast-paced role
- Industrial Operations Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not essential
- Experienced in managing remote teams and working in matrix organizations
- Experience of SAP preferred
- Knowledge of IFRS
