Set, deploy, and lead the Quality strategy for a major ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Drive the quality aspects of the business through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solution to problems. Coordinate the efforts of all necessary functions that impact on the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class level performance.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Leads the improvement of Quality and Customer experience. Sets, deploys, and leads strategy, objectives, and targets for Quality Management inline with the Quality Management System, Quality Policy, and business strategy.
- Influences and consults with senior management across ABB global organizational units / functions to innovatively shape the design and development of own functional area to improve the organization overall performance.
- Supports the management to demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system.
- Ensures appropriate internal and external communication relevant to the quality management system.
- Ensures, with the support of HR, that the global organization and the Quality teams are sustainably assessed, staffed, trained, and developed.
- Actively promotes a work environment that stimulates talent development, passion for Quality, integrity in all the actions, and results orientation.
- Ensures the necessary awareness and competence of person(s) doing work under the organization control that affects the performance and effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Based on identified risks and opportunities, in close collaboration and agreement with the management team, defines and implements short, medium
- and long-term strategy, activities and plans to develop the Quality Management System. Continuously identifies and addresses risks and opportunities related to the organization or its Quality Management. Ensures a closed-loop quality cycle from product development through validation, and customer experience feedback to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met. Ensures audits are performed and uses Quality data analytics from all parts of the organization to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances. Ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.
- Works within ABB global organizational units / functions to prevent mistakes and defects in products and avoid problems when delivering solutions or services to customers.
- Establishes mechanisms to ensure that requirements from ABB, customers and stakeholders can be fulfilled, focusing on prevention rather than only control.
- Acts as a process owner for Quality-related processes, systems, or tools, including definition & documentation (Plan), implementation & communication (Do), supervision
- & control (Check) and continuous improvement (Act) of the process.
**Your background**:
- Qualified expert for Quality Management system holding University degree and/or professional Quality qualification.
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant Quality management experience preferably in the large manufacturing, mega Projects or managing large service organization operations in an international business environment
- Experience in positions responsible for engagement of management of senior business leaders as well as operating personnel; maturity, discipline, project management, advanced facilitation, and communications skills.
- Has demonstrated consistent leadership, management through influence and collaboration creation in a complex and multi-site team-based environments.
- Good knowledge about international QMS regulations, Project, and Site management capabilities
- Proven leadership skills, motivates and engage people, direct reports as well as indirect and peers to achieve challenging results.
- Strategic orientation and Self-initiator to lead continual QMS improvement project
