**About** the role:**:**_OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- **
- A full member of the Vaccine Quality leadership team, this function will promote and align strategic thinking and innovative approaches in Vaccine Quality to help evolve the organization in line with the GQ vision and roadmap.
**How you will contribute:**:**_ACCOUNTABILITIES
- **
- Serve as the strategic partner to the Head of Vaccine Quality with regard to strategic approach to the advancement of the GQ roadmap including key initiatives, complex problem resolution, long
- and mid-range plans aligned to growth/pipeline development, network strategy and business imperatives. This includes working with leaders on the MRP/MYC processes, leading strategy deployment which includes goal setting and quarterly reporting. Understand goals, customer needs and multi-functional dynamics to create viable strategic plans.
- Monitor progress toward VBU’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), intervening as necessary to ensure that Vaccine Quality is on track to meet or exceed its performance targets. Ensures the strategic link between GMS/GQ Strategic Imperatives and VBU KPIs as well as insight in evaluating overall Vaccine Quality performance over time.
- Provide oversight of organizational change deliverables in Vaccine Quality including process improvement/harmonization, legal entity change considerations, synergy realization and ensuring the Operating Model is fully implemented.
- Support Head of Vaccine Quality in leadership team dynamics and engagement.
- Expertly drives change management by aligning with the VBU Quality leader and then leading the design, development, and implementation of various change/transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to reflect the Quality business in VBU such as OPEX, Lab Transformation, use of six sigma tools and remediation programs.
- Supports building organizational capability to deliver long-term objectives for science, systems, and people within Vaccine Quality. This includes embedding a Quality Culture that focuses on patients, instilling a learning environment, and general project management oversight.
- Works closely with the Global Quality Communications function to ensure and deliver timely updates on progress in support of the GQ Roadmap and Strategy Deployment. In addition, supports the Head of Vaccine Quality to develop and execute effective communications within Vaccine Quality and within the Quality network.

- Accountability for decisions on the day to day operation of this function that align with the roadmap and VBU Quality goals/objectives
