Proxy Product Owner

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Proxy Product Owner/Business Analyst** who is focused on user needs and team collaboration to be an integral part of our delivery team for a prestigious Geneva-based banking client.
**Responsibilities**:
**_ Analyze the ecosystem_**
- Work with designers to facilitate and progress the effective discovery, definition, and elaboration of future products.
- Analyse existing products throughout the financial institution mapping out process dependencies, and the people who interact with them.
- Identify, introduce and facilitate process design changes by analysing and developing complex business and system processes at all organizational levels.
- Analyze, assess and document new ideas and requests, considering risks, opportunities and impacts.
**_ Create and follow-up on the user stories and roadmap_**
- Accountable for the definition and delivery of new client products to replace legacy experiences and for the overall success of the product quality.
- Act as the main client liaison and point of contact in regard to product definition and release roadmap.
- Continue to maintain constructive and positive relationships with clients whilst remaining aligned with their business goals for the software and objectives for the project.
- Work with the remote team to provide vision and direction to ensure and to ensure that the software project delivery meets alignment with business and technical goals and delivers the "right solution".
- Work with design, development, and QA personnel to elaborate user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize items in the backlog.
- Supervise end-user testing and acceptance.
- Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals.
**Assist in leading the product definition**
- Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to reach a common understanding of the best solution needed, facilitate meetings and workshops;
- Manage change scope and acceptance criteria;
- Resolve change-related conflicts and issues;
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience as a senior Business Analyst or Product Owner working on enterprise software development projects in a banking/wealth management environment.
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to analyze and build abstract models with complex branched relationships;
- Solid technical knowledge of SDLC, including requirement management, UI/UX design practices, and frameworks, Agile/Scrum
- Understanding of IT company organization, functions, roles and responsibilities;
- Experience in business process modelling notations (BPMN, UML);
- Understanding of functional principles of corporate IT systems;
- Experience in implementation/improvement and automation of new business processes;
- Ability to break down business processes into specific steps and experience in flow-charting and process diagramming;
- Outstanding and professional communication and presentation skills, with fluent English. Fluent French is a big plus.
**Will be a plus**:
- Experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager
- Scrum certification (CSPO or equivalent) preferred
