The Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB) seeks a highly motivated person as **Student Assistant Contract Management**.

IOB is a research institute combining basic and clinical research. Its mission is to drive innovations in understanding vision and its diseases and develop new therapies for vision loss. It is a place where your expertise will be valued, your abilities challenged, and your knowledge expanded.

In this role you will support our contract management team in maintaining and curating its contract database. The initial employment period is planned for six months with the option for prolongation upon mutual agreement.

**Your responsibilities**
- Monitor and follow-up of contract reviews and legal questions
- Liaise with internal and external contacts to validate current status of contracts
- Record newly concluded contracts in the contract database
- Review and remediate database entries of running contracts
- Contribute to the further development of the contract database
- Contribute to projects in the legal field (e.g. new data protection law)

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in law studies
- Basic knowledge in contracting concepts
- Very good written and oral communication skills, both in English and German
- Solid knowledge of common office IT programs
- Independent and organized with an accurate work approach
