**Position Summary**
The Director, Executive Communications, will be responsible for developing content for BMS leaders for speaking opportunities, media engagements, videos, and written communications. This is a strategic role that provides significant opportunities for executive visibility, global collaboration, and business impact.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Writing content for BMS leaders for both internal and external audiences.
- Bringing rigor to our approach to external communications requests and opportunities and enact a repeatable rhythm of the business for prioritizing and delivering on these storytelling efforts.
- Working cross-functionally and globally and advising and preparing relevant materials to ensure they are of the highest quality (including Global Town Halls, country visit materials, presentations and talking points).
- Producing briefing materials for executives and other internal leaders when attending internal and external events, ensuring the corporate narrative and messaging comes through.
**Qualifications & Job Requirements**
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate communications in corporate or agency setting.
- Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, exceptional storytelling, and the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and formulate recommendations to a wide variety of audiences.
- Ambitious, self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, effectively manages priorities.
- Experience working with C-suites and other leaders.
- Exceptional collaboration skills to successfully and independently work across many teams and functions.
- High integrity, capable of excellent judgement and decision-making skills, showing the utmost discretion in the management of confidential corporate information.
