**Your activities at your future employer**
- Maintains knowledge of and ensures all aspects of accounting are in compliance with established policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Manages, trains, and directs the accounting department staff
- Produces accurate and timely financial statements
- Coordinates statutory audit
- Assists in the month end closing and financial reporting
- Prepares and reviews monthly financial statements and prepares ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
- Ensures compliance with appropriate accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Maximizes the utility of the Oracle system
- Assists with the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Reviews accounting, budgeting, and reporting processes and recommend changes and efficiencies
- Understands core business practices and makes recommendations
- Assists in annual audits, tax compliance, and statutory audits
- Supports with special projects and workflow process improvements and other duties as assigned

**Your strengths for your future employer**
- Degree in finance, accounting, or business required
- Eight or more years of accounting experience and/or financial analysis
- Five or more years of leadership experience
- Fluency in both French and English is a must, with proficiency in German considered a plus
- Experience with Oracle and SAP required
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
