Group Internal Controls Manager

We are pleased to be collaborating with a fast-growing company active on a global scale, in assisting their recruitment of a suitable Group Internal Controls Manager

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance Transformation, you will be responsible for setting up Internal controls and processes for different departments within the company.

In this context, your main task will be to participate in operating processes and documentation:

- Coordinate the development and update of Group policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor the compliance
- Map internal key controls. Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment and monitoring of the Group’s internal controls framework
- Be the backbone of internal audit report’s follow up (i.e., supporting the business in implementing corrective actions)
- Identify and define key controls that will further secure the operating processes,
- Support the local business with training and controls implementation and perform 2nd line controls on tasks performed by other departments
- Help in the future setup of new operating flows

Operating efficiency/improvement:

- Take ownership, organize, and streamline Group processes which cycle across functions and throughout the Group
- Identification and implementation of Group Internal Control best practices within the new ERP roll out to be rolled out at the beginning of 2023
- Be the backbone of future process automation

**Your profile**:

- You have Bachelor or master’s degree in Finance or University degree in relevant fields such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Communications, or Economics
- You have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar position as an internal controller or within internal audit at a Senior/ Manager level.
- You have excellent comprehension of the internal control requirements and practical implications, with an aptitude for thinking in a critical and rational manner
- You have a strong ability to drive work independently and run multiple projects that vary in scope and complexity simultaneously
- Your qualities are : high attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for top results and high quality output, good time management and prioritizing skills, mindful of deadlines, highly organized and ability to work under pressure
- You have strong IT skills of MS D365 and Tagetik would be a plus
- You are able to communicate with a wide range of individuals at all levels within the organization as well as superb written and verbal communication
- You are fluent in English, other languages as Dutch would be a plus
