About the job- Developing, executing and regularly updating the category strategic plan for the assigned procurement categories. Including the internal stakeholder engagement plan, always in accordance with the Procurement vision and in the best interest of Swarovski business goals.- Generating a strong early procurement engagement with key category internal budget owners and stakeholders, to ensure an involvement of Procurement on the spend management to maximize procurement value contribution while achieving business goals.- Developing and regularly updating the suppliers’ strategy plan keeping an efficient and effective supplier base for the category. Provide direction for tail spend management to procurement enablement functions and Global Business Services procurement teams for the categories in scope.- Identifying and managing sourcing risks; and report them to Procurement Excellence and to business stakeholders.- Creating spend forecasting/budgeting for the categories in scope in full collaboration with Controlling.- Identifying and materialize savings potentials within the category scope. Ensure the achievement of the service targets with respect to quality, costs and time.- Taking up the design of complex Global Sourcing initiatives in lieu of a sourcing manager for new cases that are not covered by the existing category policies (e.g. new materials sourced for the first time and where previous expertise of the sourcing manager cannot be leveraged to execute the sourcing initiative).- Negotiating, concluding and maintaining global contracts with a significant economic impact or with significant, in accordance to the thresholds defined by the procurement policies.- Functionally lead the purchasing team for the category based in the GBS HUB & Spokes organization, in close collaboration with the Global Business Service procurement management

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- University Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related field- Minimum 8 years of professional experience Global Category Management procurement experience, in the categories in scope, in multinational companies with a global footprint- People management and leadership solid experience. Ability to lead cross functional and project teams, along with project management experience- Knowledge of the use of analytical and strategic procurement systems- Specialist about RFX and supplier management- Team orientation, and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization- Innovative and creative approach whenever possible and can-do attitude- Excellent English proficiency, presentation, and communication skills
