Our client is an innovative and established Swiss subsidiary of a global group in the food industry, that pursues an ambitious strategy of sustainable growth. On it’s behalf we are looking for a passionate and goal-oriented personality as a Trade Marketing & Category Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute trade and shopper marketing strategy/plans as well as category management strategy and annual customer presentations
- Lead the trade marketing and category management process
- Identify growth opportunities and be an expert on how to deploy category growth based on qualitative analysis including customer expectations and competition
- Overview and align with DACH leadership/marketing innovation pipeline for Swiss unit, initiate and/or lead projects
- Initiate and establish trade marketing and promotion plans
- Develop recos for customer/shopper oriented assortment, product portfolio, listings and placement specifications
- Establish, maintain regularly Nielsen market database and share sales reports
- Co-Lead and contribute to the annual business plan process
- Lead, support, motivate, coach and mentor the direct reports to ensure effective and efficient category, trade marketing and innovation management operations

Qualifications:

- University degree in business administration or equivalent
- At least three years of professional experience in trade marketing & category management in FMCG
- Good knowledge of Swiss retail industry
- Additional experience in key account or brand management is a plus
- Development and implementation experience of trade marketing plans and promotion evaluation
- High level of attention to detail with excellent planning & organizing skills
- Advanced leadership skills to lead current and potential bigger team
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Very strong analytical skills and stratetic thinking
- Knowledge of market research methodology panel (Nielsen, GfK)
- Fluent in German and Englisch, French is a plus
- Very good knowledge of Excel, Nielsen/Nitro - SAP is a plus
