Labor Manager Research and Discovery Part Time

Tasks
- Organisation, coordination, and execution of lab support activities
- Responsible for the ordering and warehousing processes
- Together with the research team, plan equipment purchase, maintenance, attend/repair, monitoring and surveillance (eg.: temperature sensitive devices with integrated alarms)
- Help establishing and maintaining BSL1 & BSL2 lab permits, facilities, its safety (biosafety officer) and hygiene
- Responsible for suppliers’ relation for lab goods and equipment
- Preparation & maintenance of lab material required to day-to-day work.
- Active communication with building managers / Tenpoint labs to adapt lab infrastructure to current needs and proactively implement required solutions

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Life sciences (biology, biotechnology, genetic engineering), medical laboratory, or other relevant area
- 2 to 3 year experience as Research Associate or Lab manager in biotech or pharma
- Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities, anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions in a timely manner
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint along with experience setting up systems (PO) and databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is a must) including attention to detail. Other languages are an asset
- Flexible with exceptional multi-tasking skills and proactive behaviour and a team-player with a positive “can-do” attitude
