Ridgeline Discovery is looking for a SVP, Pharmacology and Translational Disease Models
.

Ridgeline Discovery is currently supporting Six Peaks Bio, a newly founded biotech start-up in finding a SVP, Pharmacology and Translational Disease Models.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In vitro/molecular pharmacology activities
  • Complex in vitro cell based and organoid composed disease models required in pursuance of our ever relevant R&D strategy
  • In vivo pharmacology models (predominantly through external partners)
  • PD/PK models
  • Biomarkers (patient segmentation, disease defining, prognostic, and target engagement)
  • Direct project manager(s) ensuring optimal resource allocation to preclinical discovery projects
  • Through strategic partnerships and internal investments, drive identification and implementation of in silico/artificial intelligence tools/platforms in support of the company precision medicine focused drug discovery platform
  • Establish a smooth and efficient interaction with Ridgeline as the initial partner of choice for lab work

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience from significant positions in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Proven successful leadership of high performing teams is a must.
  • Life Science industry experience from advancing mixed portfolios including small molecules, complex modalities, biologics, cell and gene therapy is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret preclinical data, clinical phenomics data, and to relate them to the clinical setting. Proven understanding of the agile bridging of preclinical datasets to clinical development and especially of the translational phase from discovery to clinical POC.
  • A personal record of success in managing the evolution from target discovery/validation through product conceptualization to a strong biomarker supported clinical development (POC) is required.
  • Experience in managing successfully the interfaces to discovery, early stage clinical development, regulatory, safety and clinical operations.
  • Successful track record from developing winning team(s) in Drug Discovery, Biomarker, and/or Translational Research. Has developed emerging talents as well as hired exceptional people from multiple scientific disciplines. Can consistently motivate teams to achieve the highest level of performance.
  • The ability to conduct formal presentations to relevant stakeholders (senior management, key opinion leaders, investors, etc.) is required.
  • Has worked in an international company/business environment before.
