**GBS Internal Controls (IC) Leader (Incremental)**:

To become a best-in-class Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls function that executes on an integrated and agile framework which adapts to evolving risks and a changing business environment; driving the organization towards effective and efficient processes and leading edge technology; managed by highly competent professionals who provide value add services to the business and provide oversight on the effectiveness of the organization’s control environment. Your role will help write the future by executing on the mandate of the 2nd line of defense in providing oversight, expertise, advice and value-add enhancements to the business. In addition to your role as GBS IC Manager, you will lead the other GBS IC Managers to provide advisory services to our GBS Front Office Hubs and Regions to deliver high quality services in an effective and efficient manner. In addition, you will be an integral team member of the global Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls team supporting on projects and initiatives. This position is open for existing GBS IC Managers only.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach to implement, maintain and assess the Assurance Process by the GBS management and process owners.
- Supporting proactively and in collaboration with GBS leadership and process owners the simplification of processes, controls, and the related systems in a way that maintains the right accountability.
- Maintaining relationships with GBS management and process owners in the design, development and maintenance of effective risk and control management practices including assessment of deficiencies and their underlying root causes as well as development of sustainable remediation plans
- Supporting Global Process Owners and GBS Leadership on process design enhancements to standardize processes and controls with aim to simplify and rationalize the control environment by identifying and supporting implementation of sustainable control improvements
- Providing advice, expertise, and training to Process Owners, Control Owners and Control Performers to increase awareness on the importance of risks and controls, to ensure successful execution of controls, and to increase understanding of roles and responsibilities within the control environment
- Integrating into the global Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls team by either leading or participating in initiatives and projects.

- Professional Experience:

- Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in finance, audit or internal control related areas
- Experience working with US GAAP and Sox requirements
- Professional qualification equivalent to CPA/CIA/CISA is an advantage
- Strong business knowledge and acumen
- Solid project management skills
- Good understanding of risk management principles and working experience in process improvements
- Sound working knowledge of ERP systems preferably SAP
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages according to the geography is beneficial
- International business experience is an advantage
