General Description:
The Marketing Director, New Markets will support the commercial function responsible for developing and executing commercialization strategies that support the launch and post launch success of BeiGene’s oncology products within the New Markets, with a focus on the affiliates in Brazil, LATAM, MENA and Israel.

This role will be critical in driving the marketing/brand strategic alignment within the Region.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing - New Markets, the role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Market Access, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Global Product Teams, Legal, Compliance and the cross-functional teams in the affiliates & business partners.

Essential Functions of the job:

- In the New Markets territories (LATAM, MENA, Russia, Turkey, Africa), provide commercial input and support for BeiGene’s oncology pipeline and/or future marketed molecules
- Lead the development of clear, actionable, and differentiated marketing strategies and assist in the development of cross functional strategic and tactical plans to support the commercialization of BeiGene’s oncology portfolio in the New Markets
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to provide New Markets specific marketing and commercial input, to support commercialization initiatives for assigned brands, which may include:

- BRUKINSA, Tislelizumab, TIGIT and other assets TBD
- Commercial assessment for ad hoc projects from Business Development and Growth Initiative & Partnering
- Represent and advocate for New Market’s commercial needs on Global Product Teams (GPTs) as requested
- Responsible for the development of key marketing deliverables (Launch Readiness Reviews, brand plans, localized brand assets, tactical plans, commercial assessments of market opportunities etc.) and ensuring cross functional organizational alignment
- Collaborate with local marketing teams to lead and align on commercial strategy, brand and franchise priorities, brand vision, brand positioning and disease/unmet need campaigns
- For partnered assets, build strong relationships, and influence commercial strategy with external business partners that drive business performance
- Work and manage consulting agencies for assigned molecules and related budgets for assigned vendors. Participate and lead agency consulting selection and contracting process as needed.
- Partner with multiple internal functions to ensure alignment with the BeiGene’s Global (ex-China) commercialization strategy
- Partner with Business Analytics on the development and delivery of market insights and KPIs that inform and measure commercial strategies, tactics, and product forecasts
- Develop commercial assessments which utilize appropriate insights for assigned assets
- Lead cross functional groups and workshops to develop commercial strategy, brand/tactical plans, and marketing budgets
- Co -Lead cross functional product launch teams for assigned launches
- Demonstrate marketing thought leadership and represent BeiGene at key meetings, conferences, and functions including KOL meetings and ad boards etc.
- Drive business results, culture and people initiatives aligned with BeiGene’s mission

Other Qualifications:

- A minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical industry marketing or related experience (including sales, finance, forecasting, KOL, medical and market research roles etc.).
- Must have at least 5 years' experience as a marketing leader in Oncology/Hematology
- Biotech or pharmaceutical launch experience required
- Global and/or international experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams and have the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions and those who want to advance/develop their careers both short and long term in the pharma/biotech industry.
- Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.as well as senior level management
- Skilled negotiator is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunity, and risks.

Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree plus Advanced Degree and/or Education from a top University (e.g. MBA, PHD), At least 15 years if not more of industry experience.
