At a Glance:
The world’s fastest-growing sports brand is seeking a Product Manager Performance Running who will strengthen the connection that On has with the global running communities. Driven by a creative and analytical approach, the new Product Manager Performance Running will contribute to the evolution of the performance running footwear line. Based in Zurich, yet frequently visiting our globally spread team and key retail partners, the role will ensure that products are relevant to consumers, to retailers, and to the company.

Your Team:
As the product strategy team, we’re responsible for managing product creation from start to finish. Our cross functional interaction is driven by a consumer-focused mindset to ensure we create a product line that sells in and through.

Your Mission:

- Be the voice of the consumer and market place in the product creation process
- At the intersection of product design and development to co-create an industry-leading performance running footwear collection, you are responsible working with your team to validate and input critical cross functional product data & consumer insights
- Support the Product creation team in gathering all data and future trends insights to initiate the seasonal kick-off supported by design and Innovation (aligned with On’s message)
- Work on the co-creation of clear and relevant briefs (meaningful product stories & concepts, range architecture, materials, colours)
- Align with Development to track costing and utilise your organisation skills to stay on top of sample tracking and coordination
- Ensure full alignment with the Go To Market (GTM) plan by partnering with our developers, Design, Sales & Marketing teams and participating to major presentations, milestones and launches
- Increase our industry knowledge/trends by attending trade shows, retails stores, market visits and partner with our internal teams on consumer insights (non-Covid times)
- Connect closely with running communities (customers and retailers in key markets) to ensure a customer-centric range

Your Story:

- Experience in product management or product marketing in a global sports brand environment or in connection with running communities.
- Passion for (running) footwear, engagement in the community and the willingness to pursue a career in product management.
- Ambition to work in an environment that requires to be excellent in both analytics as well as creative and innovative thinking
- Understanding of the global running market and its opportunities
- Passion for challenging the status quo and reshaping the running industry
- Strength in managing projects, strong organisational skills & ability to manage complex projects whilst sticking to critical timelines and deadlines
- Strong communication and team-working skills, dedicated to over-delivering (y)our promise and a sense of WOW.
- consumer-centric mindset. Great network-building skills and ability to connect effectively with a diverse team of peers and stakeholders
- A higher education degree
- Willingness to travel (non-covid times)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
