On behalf of our client, a Swiss Private Bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Private Banking Assistant for the Israel Market.
Tasks
- Support Relationship Managers: Assist and support Relationship Managers in daily client servicing and administrative tasks.
- KYC Compliance: Support Relationship Managers in all Know Your Customer (KYC)-related matters.
- Client Meeting Preparation: Prepare documents required for client meetings and manage client instructions when Relationship Managers are unavailable.
- Phone Management: Handle incoming calls promptly and ensure necessary actions are taken.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, update, and follow up on account opening and closing documentation.
- Account Management: Actively manage operational account tasks and system alerts professionally. Seek investment-related advice from Relationship Managers when necessary.
- Order and Transaction Handling: Ensure efficient and prompt handling of orders, trades, transactions, payments, etc.
- Maturity Monitoring: Monitor maturity lists for deposits, loans, trades, and take action according to standard procedures. Seek instructions from Relationship Managers or clients when necessary.
- Client Record Maintenance: Maintain and update records of client instructions, client details, and preferences.
- Client Communication: Provide clients and Relationship Managers with necessary information and data verbally or in writing as requested.
- Travel Arrangements: Plan and assist Relationship Managers with their travel arrangements, including document preparation and follow-up.
- Interdepartmental Liaison: Collaborate with various departments, including Treasury, Trading, Operations, Investment Services, Compliance, Front Risk Management, and IT.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to compliance, legal guidelines, internal rules, regulations, and policies.
**Requirements**:
- Banking Background: Bank apprenticeship or equivalent education is advantageous.
- Independence: Capable of working independently, maintaining organization, accuracy, and efficiency under pressure.
- Service-Oriented: Demonstrates a service-oriented and responsible approach, with a keen sense of organization and priorities.
- Team Player: Friendly, open personality with a professional appearance and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Multilingual Skills: Excellent written and oral English skills are required. Proficiency in other languages, such as Hebrew, German, French, or Italian, is an asset.
