**We are looking for...**:
...a highly motivated **Research Associate **to join our **Research** department.

**Your tasks**:

- Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of new compounds
- Resistance development and time-kill studies
- Maintenance of strain collection
- Development and implementation of bacterial whole cell assays
- Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and microscopy phenotyping
- Computer-assisted data analysis
- Documentation of results in electronic lab notebook, databases and reports
- Contribution to the maintenance and running of the microbiology Lab
- Presentation of results

**Your profile**:

- MSc in microbiology or equivalent technician training (e.g. apprenticeship)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in research in a microbiology lab in the pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive expertise in microbiological techniques
- Experience with biochemical techniques and FACS would be an asset
- Experience in working in a BL2 environment is a must
- Team oriented, independent way of working
- Well-organized and structured with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and stay focused even when handling different projects
- Good communication skills in English, German would be beneficial, presentation skills
