As VP Global Operations & Digital Transformation (f/m/d) at wefox, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence culturally and technologically. You **create digital enhancements within operational processes of the acquired distribution capabilities** to enable our platform and hyper growth strategy. You support and advise our Country operations in achieving their efficiency targets by** leveraging technology** and driving post merger integration efforts within operational processes, focused on our **core MGA processes**. You anticipate change and collaborate with the key operational functions within the Platform and Insurance business units to** shape and execute our global digitalization agenda**. Further, you help create structure within corporate functions to deliver that enhancement.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop and execute the operations strategy, framework and master roadmap to drive efficiency, scalability, superior customer experience and cost-effectiveness across the organisation, focused on core operational processes.
- Guide and support day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and seamless processes, advance use of (operational) data and implementing best practices to optimise operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitization, and lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-country teams to define requirements for new technology solutions, create reusable technology assets and manage their implementation.
- Ensure codification and transfer of best practice operational excellence & transformation approaches.
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and drive accountability and improvement. Ensure regular benchmarking of these KPIs against industry leaders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and personal growth.

**What you bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance operations management, preferably within an insurtech and/or in a position focused on operational excellence & transformation through leveraging technology. International experience is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives in different markets and/or across multiple functions
- Strong knowledge and understanding of insurtech trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Customer-centric mindset to understand needs and constantly improve customer outcomes.
- Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams and driving change within an organisation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Project management certification (PMP) or agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) are a plus.
