The Building Products strategy team focuses on translating trends and opportunities into future business to continue our strong growth and to maintain our position as one of the market leaders in building technologies.

Being part of a multinational team that works in close collaboration with the business you will have a strong impact on the domain of Mergers & Acquisitions strategy. You will collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders throughout the global SI Building Products Business Unit and other corporate functions. We look for an entrepreneurial thinking and sharp-minded personality to strengthen our team as Manager M&A Strategy.

**Your new responsibilities**
- Shape the future strategy of our Business Unit and explore the opportunities that major macroeconomic, societal, geopolitical, and technological trends such as sustainability, digitalization and others have to offer
- Analyze areas of strategic growth and innovation for our product business, consult and create recommendations for management
- Manage the M&A approval process, including approval documents for the Siemens board, jointly with expert functions and business owners; participate in the Due Diligence process
- Work in interdisciplinary strategy projects in multinational teams - team up with all seniority levels, structure multi-dimensional challenges, keep the strings together and facilitate collaboration where necessary
- Support the strategy process, communication of strategy and its implementation. Build, sustain and share knowledge within the team
- Support our Head of Strategy in driving Strategy initiatives

**Your skills and experience**
- A university degree in economics or a technical field preferably paired with an MBA
- Experience in the field of M&A, investments, or partnerships, including proficiency in financial modeling and valuation, buy-side M&A processes and venture financing
- Project management experience is desirable
- Previous experience in building technology, equipment, construction industries or IoT products and software industries will be a strong plus
- Business proficient English is a must, conversational German is desirable, any other languages are a plus

- A high degree of self-motivation and quick apprehension of new topics helps you to keep pace with the daily challenges of this role, you are flexible, analytical, structured, and able to work independently
- Strategic thinker with ability and willingness to dive deep in selected topics
- Proven ability to work with and across different levels of the organization in a collaborative spirit and ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking
- As a team player with a strong customer focus you ask the right questions and help to find answers that matter
- We are looking for a person that wants to grow within our organization beyond this role in the long term
