**Main Responsibilities**

As our Events Coordinator, your responsibilities will be to:

- **Plan and Coordinate Events**: research, select, and plan events, including timelines, budgets, and logistics; coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues; ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations; collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure an integrated approach to promotional activities and brand presence.
- **Marketing and Promotion**: cook up creative strategies to showcase our brand and reel in leads (like our Caplena app that turned sentiment analysis into a fun, gamified experience); collaborate hands-on with the Marketing team to promote events; create engaging promotional materials, event content, and social media posts in collaboration with the marketing team; ensure all specific information and materials (e.g., flyers with relevant information) are prepared and used effectively; help dream up and create event presentations that showcase us in fresh, fun, and engaging ways—think outside the box and bring your most creative ideas
- **Relationship Management**: build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners; ensure top-notch client care during events by organizing fun thank-you dinners or other engaging activities; manage our online presence and engagement in relevant societies, communities and groups; and maintain and update online listings and sponsorships.

**Requirements**:

- Recent college graduate with a B.S. in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- At least 1 year of professional experience in event planning or coordination
- Proficiency in event management software and tools such as
- Active contributor to social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail; including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Tenacious, collaborative spirit with a strong customer focus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for events.
