**About this opportunity**:
**Your work environment**: We are now looking for a **Purchasing Manager** responsible for **Coating and Inks** for the EMEA Division, reporting to the Direct Procurement Director - EMEA. This position will be based in our European Headquarters located in Zug (Switzerland).

**Your mission in Crown**
The Sourcing Department mission for direct purchases (Coating, Inks and Aluminium) is to bring a competitive advantage to Crown Bevcan EMEA Operations through prices negotiations, securitisation and diversity of the sources, minimization of the working capital, compliance to the regulations and internal rules and procurement activities for these commodities, in terms of Costs, Service and Processes.

Specifically, the job holder’s responsibilities include:

- To define in association with the Beverage Supply Chain Department, volume & specification requirements, to review against suppliers contracts, to send forecast to the suppliers; to follow-up with plants & suppliers and lead the internal arbitrations.
- To manage the existing contracts and to provide support to develop/negotiate new ones in accordance with the objectives set by the EMEA Procurement Director and the Global Sourcing team.
- To develop a consistent relationship with the suppliers.
- To discuss assumptions with the market players in these areas and options with the business.
- To develops in-depth global market trend and industry knowledge and understanding key cost drivers of the global category including underlying commodity dynamics.
- To manage the RFQ and other tenders to secure the best prices and knowledge of the market
- To pay a special attention to the internal customers satisfaction measurement and to the settlement of the quality claims.
- To closely work with the Back Office function in Sourcing to secure the accuracy of the deals and the close monitoring of the prices and volumes
- To develop a list of projects/changes in order to support the competitiveness of our Operations and continuous improvements.
- To closely work with Crown Corporate Technology to identify the technical developments and their interest for the Operations
- To prepare with the team the Budget/review and the parameters to consider.

**About you**
For this role, we expect the applicants to have a supply Chain or Engineering degree, preferably mechanical or industrial, with minimum 3 years + of experience in purchasing, sourcing or Supply Chain, acquired within a manufacturing environment. An experience in the Packaging and/or the Aluminium industry is a plus. You have high level of ethical standards. You have an analytical mindset and data speaks to you. You have a real team spirit, excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication, problem-solving and robust negotiation skills. You are able to influence, build and maintain strong relationships. You are proactive and result oriented, with the ability to challenge the status quo and a drive for Continuous Improvement. Fluency in English; with the ability to work with different people and culture as ability to travel frequently is required.
