Business Development Manager

**Overview of your role**:
You will develop and close new business opportunities with Enterprise clients. You will be maintaining profitable growth within Switzerland and executing on overarching sales and corporate objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify business development opportunities within new clients and to maximize sales revenue by implementing effective strategies to develop and grow new business
- Grow revenue from new clients
- Manage an on-going pipeline of revenue and activity
- Assist with any RFP/Tender/Proposal
- Achieve budgets, targets, activity levels, as agreed with Head of Sales
- Complete and provide appropriate, timely management reports as required
- Create and maintain all required CRM records
- Accessing C-Level, Director level contacts within client accounts and target prospects
- Lead generation via targeted outbound account prospection and calling on marketing-generated/inbound leads
- Develop a deep understanding of your prospects business goals, competition, growth plans and obstacles
- Responsible for positioning all Acolad solutions & services with help from product specialists
- Implement sales & pipeline building market strategies
- Responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation/following up a lead until closing the deal
**Requirements**:
- Native German Speaker that also speaks English, French is a strong plus
- Sales development experience
- Experience in the language industry
- Excellent working knowledge of our full service and technology offering
- Negotiation skills
- Competent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Building effective relationships
- Effective presentation skills
- Account mapping, planning and management
- Understanding our competitors / USP’s / commercial awareness
