- Immediately or upon agreement**About the role**
- As Commercial Director, you are accountable for the overall commercial strategy of Barry Callebaut Switzerland AG, all products and solutions offered to Swiss customers across all customer types and market segments as well as all Carma products sold to distributors and artisans in Switzerland and selected export markets.**Key responsibilities will include**
- Translate the regional sales strategy into a local strategy and drive the implementation in Switzerland as well as in the CARMA export markets
- Collaborate closely with regional functions of Gourmet, Food Manufacturing and Global Corporate Accounts to sell non-Swiss cocoa, chocolates, and premium specialties & decorations.
- Negotiate deals to outsource and partner with Swiss industrial clients
- Actively support the implementation of customer relationship management for existing and new customers in the relevant segments and networks
- Ensure timely, appropriate and ambitious goal setting process, as well as follow-up and taking corrective action, with commercial teams within the area of responsibility
- Collaborate with marketing (local team) to achieve short and medium term objectives in terms of volume, NSV, margin and market share.
- Direct and manage the sales team in order to maximize individual and team performance through concrete commercial goal setting
- Effectively manage 4 direct reports and 13 indirects reports in all matters, i.e. change management, talent building, succession planning and cultural development
- Ensure proper allocation of resources of the Chocolate Academy Zürich (based on market potentials)

**About you**
- Further education (Bachelor, HF etc.) in Economics, Business, Food Engineering or similar
- min. 7 years’ experience in Sales within the food industry
- Strong commercial knowledge of the Swiss market ( incl. consumer, customer and retail) is a must.
- Be an agent of change and growth, leading by example
- Excellent communication both in German and English, French is a plus
- Commercial flair with an eye for new opportunities and the desire to turn them into business
- Experienced people manager with the ability to reach different stakeholder groups
- Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland and occasionally abroad
