**Job Description**:
**Your key tasks**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud-based network architectures that meet the organization's requirements.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IAC) principles to design, deploy, and manage network resources using tools like Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, IDS, IPS, DDoS and VPNs, to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance.
- Maintain the infrastructure, planning and perform software upgrade and hardware refresh.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues and outages, both in the cloud and traditional network environments, utilizing knowledge of routers/switches, proxy, loadbalancers and firewalls.
- Optimize network performance by monitoring, analyzing, and fine-tuning network configurations and protocols.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate network requirements into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to network challenges.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor / Master degree in computer science or comparable training
- Solid foundation in networking
- Proven track record and experience in working in an industry-leading operations organization
- In depth knowledge of troubleshooting, monitoring and capturing tools
- Good communication skills
- Languages: English (at least intermediate); Italian is a plus
