**Head of Internal Communications**

We are looking for an experienced Head of Internal Communications for our Group Communication department at our Headquarters in Pfäffikon SZ.

You are responsible for managing the communication flow within an organization, by ensuring that all communications are clear, timely, and effective. You play a critical role in building and maintaining a positive workplace culture and fostering employee engagement and loyalty.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an internal communication strategy that supports the organization's goals and objectives
- Ensure that all internal communication channels, both offline and online, are leveraged to effectively communicate with employees, taking into consideration work environment and language
- Create content that is engaging, informative, and relevant to employees, ensuring that messaging is consistent across all communication channels
- Advice, provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders to help them create effective communication campaigns, as well as create global communications campaigns (e.g. presentations, guidelines, flyers, videos, blogs)
- Manage the global intranet by developing the content strategy, establishing guidelines for content creation and identifying and training content contributors to become autonomous
- Manage the internal editorial calendar to maximize opportunities to share relevant news and content and to distribute across all applicable channels and language
- Manage the global townhalls, both messaging, content and speakers as well as technical setup and interactive channels
- Support HR in the execution of the employee branding strategy with internal and external campaigns to strengthen the relationship with existing and potential employees and to position Oerlikon as employer of choice
- Gather content from various people and sources, develop communication messages, perform copy writing and copy editing, give clear briefings to graphic designers and external agencies, and ensure quality outcome and timely delivery
- Measure the impact of communication initiatives, monitor analytics to track the performance of key channels and report on key metrics to senior leadership.

Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in internal communications, with a track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of best practices in internal communication and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to align communication plans with overall business strategy
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent written and spoken English; German or other language knowledge is a plus
