**Head of Finance & Accounting OSS**

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance & Accounting at our Headquarters in Pfäffikon SZ.

In this interesting role you are part of the divisional Finance Organization of Oerlikon Surface Solutions AG (OSS) and you will be directly reporting to the CFO OSS. You are globally responsible for the local regulation-driven financial operations and you effectively coordinate the Finance & Accounting accountabilities. You also facilitate the exchange between local Finance function with Group Finance.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the global Finance & Accounting team of 120 employees around the world, thereof 8 direct reports
- Finance oversight and coordination support of monthly reporting cycle
- Take responsibility for timely and accurate IFRS closings (month end, yearend), thereby understand, monitor and control the Finance & Accounting reporting work provided by the Shared Services Centers in Warsaw and Suzhou or local Finance teams
- Distribution of relevant information towards local Finance teams (e.g. communications)
- Optimize key Finance processes considering standardization and automation of Finance processes in close collaboration with Digital Finance
- Manage organizational set-up of Finance (focus on centralization, outsourcing as in line with group guidance)
- Close collaboration with the CFO OSS, regional Heads of Controlling/FP&A and group finance functions
- Support and contribute to planning processes, such as forecasts, budgets and 5year business plans
- Manage, develop, direct and evaluate the regional Finance leaders
- Manage cost accounting (cost centers, factories, allocation keys, FTE allocation to cost centers) in alignment with OSS CFO and regional Head of Controlling/FP&A
- Must ensure timeliness and completeness of local statutory reporting
- Ensuring a smooth year end audit process and the receipt of the year end closing certificate
- Coordination of core banks, guarantees / securities in line with Group Treasury
- Collect confirmation of local adherence to the Internal Control System, ensure execution of group guidelines on local risk management including insurance coverage and claims
- Ensure audit conformity (e.g. fiscal audits, social audits, internal corporate audits, tax audits)

Your Profile
- Degree in Finance, or Business Administration with at least 10 years of financial management or (internal) consulting experience
- Proven Finance process optimization or Finance Transformation experience
- Proven experience with IFRS and local GAAP and deep understanding of financial contexts, as well as local tax legislations
- Track-record in M&A processes and post-merger integration of acquired businesses is a plus
- Intimate knowledge of SAP + MS Office suite of products, specifically Excel
- Proven project management and coordination skills
- Decisive individual acting with different stakeholders
- Good communicator and self-driven, open and positive mind-set
- Pay attention to detail and deliver results in time and in budget
- Proven leadership skills, experience in leading people is a must
- Excellent English is a must
