**Head of Digital Finance & IBP (M/F/d)**

**Role purpose**:
The digital transformation of Finance is one of the three key priorities of the Finance Game Plan at Bayer Consumer Health (CH), revolving around the concept of predictive Integrated Business Planning (IBP), an integration of commercial, operational, and financial planning across different horizons and business dimensions. The incumbent is responsible for leading the overall digitalization of CH Finance by establishing a digital operating model, designed for effective scaling of automation, visualization and simulations solutions and the implementation of IBP to enable predictive, rolling P&L and cash flow forecasting with simulation capabilities. The role is pivotal beyond CH with relevance for the Bayer Group since the planned transformation of the planning & forecasting process at Bayer will be built on capabilities to derive a robust forecast out of the S&OP process, reporting directly to the Head of Global Performance Management given its strategic importance.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
**Digital Finance**:

- Drive the digital transformation of CH Finance; oversee development and execution of digital finance roadmap
- Establish and lead Digital Operating Model with strong partnership and connectivity across CH Finance and Enabling Functions. Develop digital ambition, prioritize themes based on business demand and implement digital solutions to steer the business with more “intelligent” forward-looking forecasting
- Drive reporting automation and enhancement of CH financial dashboards, develop interactive front-end visualization and simulation solutions that can be scaled
- Strengthen use of predictive analytics within Finance, leveraging / enhancing use cases and pilots. Lead Foresight initiative, the machine learning based offtake forecasting tool for CH. Progress implementation, monitor performance / accuracy and drive continuous improvements
- Lead a team of direct and project resources to deliver functional products and solutions based on identified technology platforms

**Integrated Business Planning (IBP)**:

- Develop IBP concept and mid-term project roadmap, key phases and milestones incl. governance structure, set-up, resource needs and steering approach
- Define and drive divisional Financial Planning and Simulation concept, a key component of IBP, achieving predictive, rolling P&L and cashflow forecasts with simulation capabilities. Develop & implement standardized IBP process taxonomy
- Lead S&OP volume integration in financial planning and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with project LIFT. Enhance financially reconciled Net Sales / Gross Margin as outcome from S&OP by layering predictive planning for OPEX and working capital to achieve full P&L and cash flow plans
- Detail out data model / architecture and related system landscape incl. outlining predictive methodology leveraged for specific P&L lines and working capital
- Ensure cross functional sign-off of concept & data model blueprint, aligned with CH Performance Management, Regional Finance, IT, Corporate Controlling and Group Finance, regional commercial, PS supply chain management
- Detail out IBP implementation plan identifying appropriate scope for pilot(s) and outlining industrialization and scaling approach. Develop IBP change management narrative. Assess level of required change management support, embed CH wide communication plan, and ensure proper cascade with involvement of CH Senior Executives

**Who are you?**
- Excellent Finance skills (Master’s degree or comparable) and preferred 10+ years job experience
- In depth understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis processes (Controlling, Planning, Scenario Modelling, Consolidation) and related data and systems landscape
- Understanding of Consumer Health operating model as well as processes and high level of business acumen
- Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
- Passionate about data-driven approach and can think strategically to draw out big picture correlations, predictions, and recommendations
- Project and change management experience in large digital transformation projects
- Social intelligence, excellent collaboration, and influencing & negotiation skills to create buy in and enthusiasm
