Joining Enterprise Analytics & Data
The Enterprise Analytics and Data (EAD) team is to enable consumer intimacy and the intelligent enterprise. We are driving, scaling and monetizing our investment in data to drive faster decisions, personalize consumer experience, and realize top-line and bottom-line impact across the value chain.
To unleash the value of data for PMI, we are driving a holistic data and analytics transformation program including the shift to a federation of data & analytics skills and capabilities to accelerate PMI on the journey to become data driven.
What’s the purpose of this role?
- Being the key person driving finances for EAD team, reporting to Head of EAD Business Operations, you will be working closely with EAD Management to plan, prioritize, oversee spend and report actuals of the financials of the organization.
- Be the partner to EAD Management by overseeing and managing EAD People expenses (PEX), headcount plans (FTEs), Business expenses (BAU) and project activities (PRJ).
- You will be key contributor to drive planning (OB, RF), reporting (AC, OGSM) of financials and people effort (internal, external) to EAD Management, IT PMO (DISD), IT Finance and P&C teams.
- You will allow EAD Management to make strategic, business or financial decisions to drive PMI Data and Analytics transformation by converting strategic plans into financial operational plans in line with EAD functional priorities
- Ensure internal EAD planning, reporting and financial processes are aligned to external deadlines, and will be key responsible to drive necessary intra-EAD learning, trainings where needed.
- Inform, support and contribute to PMI Data and Analytics Transformation Strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with central functions (Smoke Free Products, CC, Operations, Finance and Regions) on resource and financial planning
- Drive prioritization of quarterly investment plan to maximize (in)tangible benefits of the budget
- Support steerco on reporting of financials, deliveries, and benefits
- Support tracking of targets, mapping and consolidating the view on PMI investment in the Data and Analytics domain
Your day-to-day
- Control and oversee EAD resource allocation against strategic needs and cooperating with EAD Portfolio Manager and Manager Enablement CoP to build and manage Data and Analytics resource tracking across the EAD managed activities. Drive internal capitalization of efforts in line with defined targets, ensuring EAD effort is captured representatively and accurately across project delivery and capability build activities.
- Advice EAD Management on EAD Financial ‘health’ - Own monthly financial processes within EAD - budget planning, spend analysis - tracking change logs (CL) and purchase order (PO) creation, monitoring budget spend vs planned, ensuring funds availability across budgetary lines
- Be a true Business Partner to EAD Management team on a monthly basis on the forecasting quality, accuracy and budget spend.
- Review and prioritize headcount plans with EAD Management and P&C team, confirming hiring plan execution, managing against budget and headcount targets.
Who are you?
- Graduate of a Business School or university equivalent, you have at least 8 years of experience in positions in Finance and business planning and / or business development, ideally acquired in multinationals, in the product industry consumer goods or within a consulting firm.
