Your ‘day to day’

To support the Strategy and Program Delivery (S&PD) of the global procurement function, we are looking for a manager specialized in direct materials procurement or procurement consulting, to join our Operations Center, based in Lausanne - Switzerland.
- Lead development of the strategy for Procurement sub-function (DIM) in collaboration with Procurement Category Leadership and overall PMI S&PD community
- Support DIM procurement strategy and objectives cascade and communication
- Coordinate and lead strategy implementation activities within DIM procurement
- Manage performance delivery including KPIs tracking, action plans development and implementation monitoring
- Prepare, manage and monitor budget
- Lead x-functional continuous improvement, productivity and other optimization initiatives
- Identify improvement opportunities and support best practice sharing within Procurement and across Operations S&PD community
- Lead / participate projects for systems deployment, processes improvement, capabilities development, digitalization and others
- Lead / participate in projects and initiatives in the area of communication and engagement for Procurement and its stakeholders

Who we’re looking for:
Essential Requirements:

- Previous experience in managing procurement category strategy process and / or performance management, defining and implementing strategy, delivering Program/ Projects
- Work experience in large multinational companies or other relevant experience
- Knowledge of Direct Procurement or Operations processes
- Strategic and conceptual thinking, excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Customer orientation; strong communication and influencing skills
- Comfortable dealing with challenging timelines and working autonomously

Preferred Requirements:

- Knowledge of different industries
- Program / Project management experience
- Knowledge of digital solutions and technologies
- Financial & business acumen
