**The Role**:
The Strategic Planning and Operations Lead will be responsible to create and to maintain a continuous improvement project portfolio, and to establish a strong governance process to monitor progress of the ongoing activities, in line with our Global quality objectives. In addition, he/she will be leading cross-functional improvement programs and will be overseeing other quality led projects, providing the teams with the necessary coaching, ensuring a sound methodology and appropriate tools are being applied consistently to successfully deliver on the project deliverables. In this matrix organization, the Strategic Planning and Operations Lead will be a critical change agent, driving change management so that all teams and individuals within the International Quality organization are living up to the Moderna values and mindset, in everything they do.

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Design, Implement and maintain a project portfolio and a governance process to monitor progress of key initiatives in alignment with the objectives of the quality unit

Work with CMOs to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities based on operational KPIs

Establish, manage, and lead cross-functional project teams

Create and maintain detailed project plans to ensure clarity of deliverables and timing.

Create a toolbox and training material for continuous improvement methodology and tools

Develop and manage visual metrics/dashboards to provide a transparent oversight of performance

Collaborate with support functions to translate operational improvements into business benefits

Ensure close collaboration, interaction and alignment between Moderna’s International Quality organization and the rest of Moderna’s functions.

Drive change management, with focus on empowerment and accountability

**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
**Education**: University degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g. sciences, engineering, business)

**Experience in Continuous Improvement**: Black belt or Green belt certified

**Experience**: 10+ years in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Manufacturing

Ability to work in a fluid environment and foster a strong collaborative spirit

Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships

Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions

Strong knowledge of project management tools/software, and digital solutions

Ability to demonstrate strong Change Management skills

Strong proficiency in English. German is an added advantage.

Strong communication skills, both in the preparation and the presentation of internal communication material
