**Diversity & Inclusion Director**:
**Position Purpose**:
You will be a member of the JTI Global Talent Management and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team responsible to design and lead the Company's strategy to promote workforce diversity and foster an inclusive environment, working closely with members of the Global Talent Management team, JTI People & Culture, and other functions’ key stakeholders.
**What will you do - responsibilities**:
- Provide vision, leadership, management, and strategic planning for Diversity & Inclusion initiatives across the Company. Align D&I objectives and strategic plans with the vision of the Company and organizational goals. Ensure that D&I initiatives enhance the Company's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Ensure that Diversity & Inclusion efforts are integrated into our global Talent Management practices and beyond via effective collaboration with colleagues from the wider Talent Management team and other relevant functions.
- Ensure that D&I initiatives are prioritized and operationalized. Keep abreast of best practices and current trends in diversity and inclusion and bring that knowledge to inform program and policy development work.
- Develop diversity-related programs and communications by leading these efforts directly as well as engaging internal resources and outside expertise.
- Develop, in collaboration with Corporate Communication, a D&I communication strategy (internal & external)
- Strengthen JTI D&I metrics and dashboards to ensure accountability, tracking, and monitoring of efforts. Ensure ongoing attention, benchmarking, and best practices concerning diversity and inclusion. Assess both qualitatively and quantitatively, the success/progress of programs, policies, and services. Prepare periodic reports for presentation to senior leadership.
- Serve as an articulate and results-oriented catalyst for change throughout the organization.
**Who are we looking for - requirements**:
- University Degree
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a large global or multinational company, latterly in a diversity and inclusion leadership role. Business/commercial leadership experience at a senior level would be advantageous. Broader Human Resource experience is a beneficial, but not essential
- Ability to demonstrate sophisticated relationship-building abilities, cultural adaptability, influencing at the senior level, superior communication skills, and strong emotional intelligence
- Proven track record of engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders and committed to working collaboratively with other diverse colleagues to craft a common vision and direction for Diversity and Inclusion
- Demonstrable ability to shape and manage the delivery of an integrated, organizational wide-program of Diversity and Inclusion agenda activities:
- Ability to take build on an existing programme of activities to provide a strategic roadmap that will drive action and progress in line with the overall corporate objectives
- Proven change management skills and the ability to adapt to change in a multigenerational, multinational and ambitious environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate relevant data into insights and actionable plans
- Strong familiarity and understanding of legal matters related to Diversity and Inclusion, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation (e.g. sensitivity of local laws, discrimination, harassment, GDPR), and how to translate legislation into practice to ensure organizations meet statutory requirements
