**In order to implement new projects, Swisscontact applies to public tenders of our most important donors. Our seven-strong **acquisition team **at the global office in **Zurich **is responsible for providing professional support and guidance to our colleagues in the country offices. We monitor the pipeline, provide strategic input for the further development of the portfolio and coordinate, review and finalize concrete offers according to internal organizational criteria and the requirements of the donors. In order to support the bid process and assure that the offers are submitted in an efficient and timely way, we are looking for a new team member** immediately or upon agreement **as **Business Development Assistant (60-100%)**.**

**Tasks**:

- Administrative support in the development of offers in English, French, Spanish and German (depending on language skills)
- Providing master documents (templates) according to the requirements of the donor
- Ensuring the knowledge management as well as translating, formatting, and adapting specific data like CVs, project references, text blocks, graphics and up-to-date versions of legal documents
- Final formatting of the technical proposal according to internal and external requirements and guaranteeing the formal finishing of the proposal package (e.g. drafting list of abbreviations and annexes, improving graphic presentation, printing and mailing)
- For won projects, collecting and sharing information for internal stakeholders who implement the projects
- Supporting the team in the formal quality check of budgets to be submitted to the donor and other tasks according to needs
- Contributing to the further development of tools and processes of the acquisition team

**Requirements**:

- Good language skills in English and French (B2). Good language skills in German and/or Spanish is an advantage
- Ability to work precisely and deliver qualitatively and quantitatively good results under high workload and time pressure
- Ability to prioritize and to alternate between different tasks
- Willingness, pleasure and ability to work with various teams
- Professional and goal-oriented communication skills in a multicultural context and with different target groups
- High service orientation and reliability
- Interest in development cooperation
- Commercial apprenticeship, technical university or equivalent training and further education
