Job Summary (Primary function)
The Manager, Privacy Operations, Europe supports all Incyte activities involving personal information in Region Europe. This role is a steward of Incyte Privacy’s policies, processes, and technology solutions to ensure all European functions within Incyte embed privacy and data protection requirements and controls into contracts, projects, products, and services. The Manager, Privacy Operations, Europe reports in to the Director, Regional Privacy Officer, Europe.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
- Assist the European functions to initiate and submit privacy assessments as requested.
- Support Privacy’s training program in Region Europe to document and deploy the appropriate training and awareness materials in the appropriate languages to all new Incyte staff members in Region Europe and refresher training and awareness materials to existing Region Europe Incyte staff as required.
- Assist the Director, Regional Privacy Officer, Europe in ensuring the Privacy and Data Protection Intranet page is updated with the latest versions of the Privacy Polices, SOPs and Materials as requested.
- Provide support to Global Privacy Officer, Regional/Local Data Protection Officers, and Information Security Officer with personal information incident response; log European incidents from identification to close-out.
- Monitor privacy processes in Region Europe and report on findings as applicable.
- Report on privacy metrics and initiatives within Region Europe.
- Work closely with and support the Privacy team with other Privacy initiatives and technology solutions.
- Participate in internal and external audits of the Privacy program and provide assistance as requested.
- Process Privacy program contracts, SOWs, POs, and invoices as may be requested for Region Europe.
- Schedule team meetings, establish agendas.
- Contribute positively to a strong culture of privacy and ethics.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
- BA/BS degree required.
- 3 years minimum relevant experience in a privacy, compliance, or legal function.
- Pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
- Certification in privacy (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM) preferred or obtained within one (1) year of hire.
- Proficiency in English required. Other European Language is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
- Experience with workflow and data processing systems such as Salesforce, Sharepoint, Intralinks, ServiceNow, other SaaS solutions preferred.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and adaptable.
- Excellent organization, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidences while working with sensitive, confidential information.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 2 times a year.
