Das legendäre Hotel Palace Luzern wurde erstmals im Jahr 1906 eröffnet und befindet sich in Luzern am Ufer des Vierwaldstättersees. Nach einer kompletten Renovierung eröffnete das Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern im September 2022 seine Türen für Kollegen und Gäste. Das Hotel verfügt über 136 Zimmer und Suiten mit herrlichem Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee und die Berge. Drei Restaurants, eine Bar mit wunderschöner Terrasse, der Meeting
- und Eventbereich, der Spa sowie ein Fitnessraum runden das vielfältige Angebot für unsere Gäste ab.

Als In Room Dining Manager werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende** Aufgaben **sein:

- Management of the room service department
- Ensuring a smooth and guest-oriented service process
- Coordination of the daily work
- Ensuring guest satisfaction and dealing professionally with guest complaints
- Developing employees, conducting feedback and appraisal reviews
- Creation and controlling of duty rosters and vacation planning
- Accounting all transactions in the POS system and carrying out an accurate cash settlement
- Taking on projects and other administrative tasks
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP guidelines

Als In Room Dining Manager **suchen **wir nach:

- Eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der gehobenen Hotellerie oder Gastronomie
- 2-3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position
- Gute EDV-Kenntnisse, wünschenswert wären Kenntnisse mit dem Kassensystem Infrasys und dem Buchingsystem SevenRooms
- Kommunikative Fähigkeiten - die Gäste werden sich sowohl mit Beschwerden als auch positivem Feedback an Sie wenden

**We are looking for a In Room Dining Manager** **to join our** **iconic **Mandarin Oriental Palace**, **Lucerne**.**

The legendary Hotel Palace Luzern first opened in 1906 and is in the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. After a complete renovation, the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern reopened its doors in September 2022. It comprises 136 rooms and suites offering excellent views over the lake and mountains. Three restaurants, one bar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a Spa and a fitness room roundup our offer for our Guests.

As In Room Dining Manager, you will be **responsible** for the following tasks:

- Coordinating the recruitment and interview process for a fast and efficient hiring process
- Writing job advertisements and posting them on the relevant portals
- Conducting pre-screenings and conducting interviews via MS Teams or on-site
- Active sourcing
- Implementing successful employer branding measures (e.g. social media talent attraction campaigns, recruiting events, open days)
- Maintaining the applicant management system

As In Room Dining Manager, we are **looking** for:

- Completed vocational training in the upscale hotel or catering industry
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Good IT skills, knowledge of the Infrasys POS system and the SevenRooms booking system would be desirable
- Good communication skills - guests will contact you with both complaints and positive feedback
- High level of commitment as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working
- High quality awareness
- Flexibility and resilience - your position will include weekend and public holiday shifts
- Excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance as well as a positive charisma
- Very good knowledge of German and English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
