**Optotune Switzerland AG **is a strongly growing and internationally active optics company based in Zurich, Switzerland. We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets. Optotune’s vision is to enable our customers to create innovative products by providing them with unique optical components.

**Description of role**: Optotune’s vision is to be the solution of choice for optical systems that need dynamic light control. However performant and innovative our components may be, our success is linked to the success of our customers, who first need to design-in our components and bring their systems to the market. Design companies play an important role in the innovation process and it will be your task to approach, train and build up a network of capable design partners to accelerate the market adoption of our products. At the same time, you have the opportunity to pick up trends in a variety of markets and feed those back to Optotune product management and R&D to take influence on the product roadmap.

**Tasks**:

- Acquisition of new customers worldwide
- Development of a strategic partnership program for system design companies
- Market research & input for product management
- Creation of sales materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies
- Content creation for marketing materials
- Participation in trade shows

**Requirements**:

- Must have a technical background (MSc or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in machine vision, cameras or optics
- Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships
- Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions
- Passion for sales, friendly personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
- Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, and other languages advantageous
