**IS Service Owner for Application Security**:

The primary role of the Service Owner for Application Security is to create the IS service lifecycle roadmap so that it aligns with the vision that is created by the Business Owner and IS goals and objectives. The Service Owner is accountable for the delivery of a specific IS service and is responsible for the service management of a specific service in the organization. They are the representative/spokesperson of the service in the whole organization. The Service Owner has visible and expert leadership in the service line in the further development and effective implementation of services planning and continuous improvement strategies, optimizing the development of commercial effectiveness of the service. Is accountable that IS service is in scope of the service line, with the customer/consumer in mind, and is fully compliant with security, control regulations and standards.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Establishing inputs for service attributes: The service owner must be hands-on regarding their involvement in ensuring that the service reaches its targets and that performance increases year after year. This includes being responsible to create effort, time, and cost estimates for demand requests (projects, solutions, deployments, and handover to operational vendor), and providing or approving customer communication for service launch and pending maintenance windows as well as coordinating internal communication for operational staff.
- Taking ownership and knowledge of the service for service management: Collaborates with the technical staff assigned to the service to ensure that they have the necessary know-how about the service that the service owner is championing.
- Escalating Point of Contact for Major Incidents: The service Owner is the point of escalation if there is a severe problem in the service and works with the service line to get the service back on track.
- Attending service review meetings to facilitate service management: Review meetings must be held regularly, and the service owner must attend all internal and external review meetings to ensure that the service is properly managed.
- Improving the service in cooperation with the Continuous Service Improvement guidelines: Determines service improvements, prioritizes these improvements, and plans the implementation of these improvements as services should be improved regularly to have better service management.
- Manages individuals and groups. Allocates responsibilities and/or packages of work, including supervisory responsibilities. Delegates responsibilities as appropriate. Sets performance targets, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria

**Your background**:

- Excellent IS development and operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies
- Track records in leading IS vendors
- Solid communication and people management skills
- Proven ability to understand the customers/consumers and associated personas requirements
- Extensive experience in identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams
- Excellent experience to figure out business requirements and how to translate into technical IS capabilities and solutions
- Strong experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
