Digital Transformation Lead Sm&o Opu

**About the role**:
As Digital Transformation Lead, you will help in driving the integration of digital capabilities within the newly formed OpU, aiming to accelerate our transformation by unleashing the power of data to ensure business process automation and acceleration of speed-to-market. You will also propel digital transformation throughout the OpU by working hand-in-hand with internal and external manufacturing organizations and using advanced technologies. You will report to Head of OESSM Digital and AGILE Transformation.
**How you will contribute**:
- Business Process Implementation and Automation: Identifying opportunities to lead benefits, monitoring performance, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency while ensuring a positive user experience and partner engagement.
- Collaborate with sites and global teams to lead/translate requirements into technical build and lead/partner/help implement digital solutions while staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends.
- Oversee the structuring, administration, and execution of digital strategic initiatives, ensuring agreement on team goals.
- Gathering data requirements necessary to perform desired analyses; help develop process modifications and progress programs needed to support Takeda's vision of becoming the most trusted, science-driven, digital biopharmaceutical company.
- Proficiency in evaluating the strategic impact of digital tools, including Return on investment assessment, process optimization, and enhanced data-driven decision-making.
**What you bring to Takeda**:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health science, engineering, or business
- Higher level certification or related experience on Agile/RPA/Software Development/Web Developer
- 8 years in regulated industry; Operations experience desirable.
- 5 years software development lifecycle role or equivalent position.
- Experience managing and engaging Global Teams and Global Partners.
- Collaborate on business case presentations and action plans to drive the OpU's Digital strategy, including implementation of new technologies, target recommendations, performance optimization, and cost/benefit analyses on digital and process related initiatives
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and business enhancement through digital transformation.

- _ Requires approximately 20-30% travel._

**Important Considerations**:
At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:
- Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
- Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
- Work in a cold, wet environment.
- Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
- Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
