**About the role**
- We are looking for a permanent and full-time position of a Category Manager General Services. This position has Commodity Management responsibility for the Indirect Spend categories such as: IT, HR, Car Fleet, Travel, Consulting, Marketing and other NPR categories, with the purpose of delivering value in purchased goods and services to support key business initiatives, managing RFX's and other sourcing initiatives to facilitate the procurement process, ensuring continuous, reliable supply of goods and services, contributing to the organization’s financial results by cost savings**Key Responsibilities include**- Analyze historical spend data, budget, mid-term project list and define category strategy
- Drive continuous improvements (cost and service) of assigned sourcing categories where appropriate
- Partner with internal customers to identify and understand current and future business needs
- Research new potential suppliers, understand market forces and convey innovations and best practices to internal stakeholders
- Lead RFX's (coordinating cross-functional teams), evaluate, analyze and assess results, document recommendations and effectively communicate results to internal stakeholders
- Define particular terms and conditions, having an active role in the contract drafting
- Manage, negotiate and implement contracts
- Monitor and report results in spend optimization
- Managing supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance to procurement policy**About You**- University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar (required)
- Minimum 5 years of Indirect Sourcing experience in multiple-site environment
- Highly motivated, result oriented, team player and self-starter
- Experience working independently, taking responsibility for procurement strategy across all levels of assigned organization
- Experience leading contract negotiations
- Experience in project management is highly desired
- Confident in drafting and delivering presentations effectively
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Knowledge or specific business understanding, with a clear focus on the areas of IT and HR. Understanding of other categories such as Travel and Marketing would be useful
- Thorough understanding of strategic sourcing methodology
