**Job specific qualification**
- Holds advanced Procurement Qualification (e.g.: MCIPS or MIPS) or MBA
- Strategic Procurement & Logistics Leadership in International & Technical environment
- Good social skills and reputation for integrity
- Interdisciplinary project management experience
- Motivates staff and leads by example
- Takes responsibility for ensuring best outcomes
- Capable of training specific procurement skills at lower levels
- Used to communicating at Board Level & across divisional structures (e.g.: HITZ Procurement)
- Promotes the long-term internal and external collaboration, based on the company values
- Experienced in use of sophisticated methods in order to identify complex problems and ensures implementation of suitable holistic solutions
- Deputises in comparable fields

**Competence in working method**
- Advanced negotiation skills (Iterative Procurement & Claims management)
- Good understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon)
- Excellent knowledge of Category Management & Supplier Development processes
- Excellent knowledge of Sourcing & Bidding processes
- Good knowledge of SAP (SRM & MM) and MS-Office (Excel incl. Pivot, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of eProcurement solutions Good knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management
- Good understanding of QA processes appropriate to Supply Markets
- Very good market and product knowledge
- Multicultural experience
- Multilingual with professional English (B2 - C1)

**Your experiences**:

- Member of SCM Manegement team
- Leadership of Category Management & Sourcing activities
- Supports & deputises VP SCM
- Ensure sourcing strategies for main categories are developed and implemented into project execution
- Assists, Coach and supervises Category Managers and Sourcing managers in execution of tasks
- Represents SCM at managerial level (internally & externally)
- Proactive management of procurement Categories & operational management of project orders in agreed project lots
- Drives effectiveness and efficiency of operational procurement tasks
- Participates in developing related procedures & process improvements within overall function
- Communicates effectively with BU-/Department Heads relating to Category Management activities
- Supports the department in achieving objectives
- All other duties as reasonably requested
