Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Global Category Manager to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis located in Zurich. Our client is focused on producing better health for people.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this position, you will be responsible for contract deliberations, executing contracts, etc.
- Handle various contracts in play, from initial agreement, through to execution.
- Accountable developing concepts in line with business on saving prospects.
- To guarantee that correct taxonomy is implemented, you will be responsible for ongoing cleaning of spend data.
- Guide RFP for primary and secondary packaging.
- Manage new finished goods packaging wallet design cost analysis.
- Evaluate project savings from Project Costing Team / Savings Projects Reconciliation.
- Help CMO Segmentation strategy development and implementation.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:

- Expertise on procurement/sourcing as well as of SAP and PO approval
- Comprehension of pharma CMO relationships.
- Solid sub-category knowledge and a background in sourcing.
- Able to handle cross-functional project teams to produce material values across various categories.
- Familiarity with tactical and operational procurement with expertise on category management.
