Global Head of Ocean Operations

**Purpose**:
Strategically lead and manage all global OFR operational activities, processes, automation and customer experience to achieve high efficiency in terms of productivity, cost and service excellence. Responsibility for ensuring seamless global operations and fostering collaboration while delivering high-quality products and services and continuously improving global OFR processes.

**General**
- Drive and ensure service as well operational excellence
- Constant focus on Increased productivity measures without jeopardizing service quality
- Drive improvement of the GP to EBIT conversation rate
- Drive process automation
- Functional lead of all OFR Operational and Customer Service colleagues in the region and the countries
- Set strategy and drive execution as part of the Ocean ExCom Leadership team
- Coaches and develops the team to ensure they are delivering against key business metrics
- Oversee and deliver a range of critical global projects

**Key tasks**
- Set up and drive a clear automation agenda
- Measure and drive productivity through automation, process, and training programs
- Instill file optimization in the organization using the 1F1O methodology
- Oversee major cost items and ensure continued optimization of these and our non-ocean carrier vendor portfolio
- Ensures OFR process adherence in the regions and countries
- Drive and take responsibility for the global KPIs
- Key contact for all operational and customer service orientated matters globally. Collaborate closely with other functions
- Set and drive a continued improvement of our digital tools
- Develops and innovates new process improvement features
- Leads and develop a team across multiple locations and over various functions.
- Set up global standards and drive efficiencies into the network

- Minimum +10 years’ experience in similar role
- Extensive experience in leading teams
- Strong communication skills
- Strategy and execution experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Financial acumen
- Process and automation knowledge and experience
- Project Management experience
